Collection of 8 soprano and alto recorder duets with piano and/or Orff accompaniment. These duets are arranged for the classroom or for a select ensemble, and were integrated in the general music classroom at the 5th grade level. If you feel your students are not ready for alto recorder, another option is to transfer the alto recorder part to an alto xylophone.
With the exception of one song, all other songs use only three or four notes in the alto part. The range of the recorder parts is as follows:
SR: E, G, A, B, C, D & E
AR: G, A, B, C, D, E, F & G
