Francois Dauverne was the first trumpet teacher at the famed Paris Conservatory, and was the teacher of such notable students as Jean Baptiste Arban and Louis Saint-Jacome. This collection of solos composed by Dauverne is unique in that they are among the very first solos written for the valved trumpet. Originally composed for trumpet and chamber orchestra, this collection of six solos has been meticulously transcribed and edited by Dr. Ronnie Ingle. This is a must-have collection that all trumpeters should have in their library!
