The Ludwig Atlas Short Scissor Lift solves the problem of 'how can I get a cymbal here' pretty neatly. Equipped with Aerodyne boom arm and cymbal tilters, this cymbal mount gives you absolutely free control of the angle and distance of any cymbal attached to it.
It's called the Scissor Lift because you can adjust the arms so they fold right on top of one another - it looks a little bit like a pair of scissors. The cymbal tilter is gearless for maximum adjustability, and the Lift itself attaches to any 12.7mm rod, tom arm, cymbal boom, or floor tom leg.
This is the smaller version of the Scissor Lift, which works even better in tight spaces.
