Inspired by the famous "chainsaw sound" of a Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal pedal, Carbide takes it further, tweaking the distortion circuitry for extra crunch and resonance.
Unlike regular pedals, Carbide splits your signal into two paths: one for a clean boost, perfect for downtuned guitars, and the other for distortion. Each path has its volume knob for precise adjustments before blending together, letting you find your ideal level of distortion.
There's also an Emphasis control to refine your sound by enhancing the boosted frequencies while tweaking the extreme lows and highs.
